ENDSTATION 08ID-1
CCD DETECTORThe CCD detector for the 08ID-01 beamline will be the marmosaic CCD225.
The marmosaic 225 CCD detector from Mar-USA, Inc. is a 3 x 3 CCD chip and optic taper detector. It has 3072 x 3072 pixels and an active area of 225 mm x 225 mm (73 µm pixel size). Its outstanding Point-Spread-Function and the large area provide excellent data quality and order resolving power. FLUORESCENCE DETECTORThe CMCF will be equipped with a RÖNTEC XFlash fluorescence detector. The fluorescence spectrum is used to calculated the wavelengths that maximise the anomalous signals from a particular heavy atom in a MAD experiment. GONIOMETERHuber Model 410 goniometer with single phi axis The goniometer system will include a support table with positioning in vertical and horizontal directions, a goniometer, an exposure box, a high-sensitivity camera with zoom optics and condenser, a fluorescence detector, a nitrogen gas cryo-jet cooler, and a sample changer. The φ axis shall be able to rotate with a rotation speed of at least 45 degrees per second. The j drive shall have a repeatability of 0.001 degrees, an absolute accuracy of 0.002 degrees or less, and a resolution of 10-4 degrees. Information from manufacturer: Huber Model 410
OXFORD CRYOJETTemperature range: 90 - 300 K Temperature stability: +/- 0.1 K Gas flow rate: 0 - 10 liters/min The above specifications are as per the manufacturer's product guide. Information from manufacturer: Oxford Instruments Cryojet
