The 4th International Workshop on Radiation Safety of Synchrotron Radiation Sources is part of a series which began in 2001 at APS (USA), then at ESRF (France) in 2002, recently at Spring8 (Japan) in 2004. In 2007 the workshop will be hosted by the Canadian Light Source Inc. (Canada) located on the campus of University of Saskatchewan.  Year 2007 is a special year for Saskatchewan celebrating the Centennial of the founding of the University of Saskatchewan.

       

        The workshop is a unique forum to facilitate discussion and exchange information between radiation physicists, radiation safety professionals and concerned parties about current and future radiological issues facing those involved in design, commissioning, operation and ultimately decommissioning of synchrotron facilities in the world.
