Beam Spot Size in the Sample Plane

The figures below show the synchrotron beam spot size. These measurements were done by mapping out the sample plane using a 10 μm pinhole in transmission mode, with upper and lower apertures fully open. The step size was 5 μm in the XY-directions. The resulting XY intensity maps were obtained by assembling single channel traces at the specific wavenumbers shown.
